Ion Exchange Cation Resin Filter is filled with quality Cation resin that can soften water and remove the hardness material in the water such as calcium and magnesium. The two ends of the cartridges are padded with a special Polypropylene layer that can make a higher flow capacity of the cartridge, without any dirty water coming out. After installing this new cartridge, flush 5 gallons of tap water through filter system to flush out any resin particles. Applications Softening water for whole house water filter systems, Ice machines, dishwasher filters, beverage or soda fountain equipment, Film developing and Plating solutions.
